About Elder Russ Gross

I am a native of Cranston, Rhode Island, graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, and completed post-graduate work at both Rutgers University and the University of Southern California. After a successful 25-year career in the Telecommunications industry, I worked briefly with the United Way, and for 19 years as an executive in the Healthcare Industry until retiring from the corporate world in late 2016. Throughout my business career I was also very active in diversity, both in the workplace and the community.

I gave my life to the Lord almost 40 years ago, and currently attend The King’s Cathedral in Providence RI, where I am a Partner and Ordained Elder, former Board Chair, and have also led the Men’s and Prison Ministries. I was married for 28 ½ years to the love of my life, Beverly, who went to be with the Lord in late 2007, and have one adult son, Quentin. While I was remarried for several years, I am now single and currently reside in Attleboro, MA. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, following my favorite sports teams, listening to music, and as time permits traveling.

After conducting numerous workshops and seminars and teaching at mid-week Bible Study on Kingdom Prosperity and biblically based financial accountability principles at my local church over the years, the Lord put it in my heart as I prepared to transition to the next phase of my life that His assignment for me in carrying out my purpose to “Organize and Execute” is to share all I have learned in my lifetime and walk with Him to help people receive, believe, understand and faithfully follow His Word through writing and teaching. More specifically, the Lord instructed me to “Take Care of Kingdom Business” by sharing the Gospel and biblical principles to empower people so they can know the Lord, express His purpose and experience His highest and best in every area of their lives - At Home, At Work, At Church, and in The Community.

In obedience to this mandate I have written three books on Kingdom Prosperity, Faith, and how I succeeded in the corporate world as a man of color and follower of Christ, have established the “Principles of Faith” Ministries, and with the help of a bright young brother in Christ from Brown University have established this website.

I strive to live my life according to what I refer to as the C. I. A. of manhood, being a man of Commitment, Integrity and Accountability, with the scripture that best describes how I try to walk with the Lord each day being 2 Corinthians, Chapter 5, Verse 7 – “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
